We have been adding a new lease of life to our iconic windmill. Having started life at the Buderim Zoo and Koala Park on the corner of Tanawha Tourist Drive and Crosby Hill Road, it was moved to Bellingham Maze in 1997 where it has been an icon along Tanawha Tourist Drive for 26 years. This year Bellingham Maze, now renamed ‘Amaze World’, is in it’s 30th birthday year and it seems fitting to renovate the windmill and make it look aMAZEing again!
Recladding and painting this icon has made it look incredible, and shortly the new blades will once again turn and bring it fully back to life, especially for those who have travelled past it for the last 26 years.
In the future our hopes are to allow guests to enter the bottom level of the windmill and purchase much needed refreshments during visits to our Funtastic and aMAZEing world of mazes, puzzles, games and fun for the whole family!
