Hitting the pavement alongside Elly and Becks from 91.9 Sea FM, the owners of Amaze World Adam and Robyn, with their two children, participated in the ‘Kicks for Kids’ walk early Friday morning. As a sponsor team they walked along Nicklin Way from Buderim Street, Curriumundi, through to Pirinaga Street, Wurtulla. This important walk aimed to help raise much needed funds to provide 2,600 shoes to kids and young people around the Sunshine Coast.
The organising charity Inclusive Kids partnered with 91.9 Sea FM to walk from Happy Valley in Caloundra to the Mudjimba Surf Club. This walk was accompanied by sponsor teams who started and ended their walk through a tap and go system, thereby engaging many teams to fore fill the 30-kilometre trip.
With the sun out and a spring in each step we helped raise more than 2,600 pairs of shoes. What a day and what a worthwhile cause!
