The 37th Annual Queensland Tourism Awards was another incredibly special evening in which we mastered success. Attending the star studded event filled with so many finalists from all around Queensland, who joined together to celebrate the incredible place Queensland is and the wonderful businesses that help both Domestic and International visitors enjoy each and every part of what Queensland has to offer.
These awards cover 30 different categories and recognise the outstanding achievements within the States Tourism Industry. Aimed at helping recognise and reward excellence, support business planning and development, increase media and publicity, energise and motivate staff, and increase benchmarking best practices and standards, they also promote, celebrate and provide networking opportunities in the industry.
Participating in our first year of the awards, we were honoured to walk away with a BRONZE in the category of Tourist Attractions. Within this section Gold went to Bundaberg Rum Distillery Visitor Experience, and Silver went to Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures in Wangetti Beach, Far North Queensland – congratulations to both.
We definitely couldn’t have achieved success without our wonderful dedicated staff who always go above and beyond to make each visitors day special. We are all humbled and grateful for this recognition into the Top 3, and will continue to strive for more as we expand and grow further, so watch this space…
